Located in the quaint town of Springdale Utah, nestled just outside of Zion National Park; you will find a wonderful Marriott hotel with views that will take your breath away.. Springhill Suites Zion National Park.
Upon pulling into town and approaching the Springhill Suites, you can clearly see why this is a top ranked hotel in Springdale. The facility literally sits at the foot of the amazing Zion National Park mountains. The views are absolutely breathtaking. The way the sun hits the mountains is just something else. Not to mention Springhill Suites only opened in 2017, she definitely still has the new car smell.
We arrived around 1pm, a bit early for checkin, however to our surprise our room was available. The room was perfectly cleaned with all new furnishings, to be expected of course from a new hotel. I especially LOVED the sofa bed. It was a West Elm brand sofa and in lieu of the typical fold out spring mattress, the sleeper was a pull out drawer with a foam mattress. My son had the best few nights rest on that bed. Our room did not have a balcony, we didn’t mind this either as it encouraged us to get outside. We did just that. Dropped the bags and headed straight to the park for an afternoon hike. Once the hike was done we made a bee line towards the pool. Which I must add that the views from the pool were some of the best pool views EVER. The pool was heated, as well as well stocked with towels. The hot tub was super hot and relaxed our muscles perfectly! There is a cute sitting area as well with a fire place for those chilly nights. It was August for us so cold was no where near the forecast!
The next morning we decided to eat the complimentary breakfast in the hotel’s lobby. A choice I was extremely happy was made. They had a very nice spread. Scrambled eggs, sausage, muffins, waffle maker, fruit, yogurts and cereals.

After we hiked well over 6 miles thru the Narrows and fueled up with lunch, we were longing to head back to the pool. It was about 2pm and we were happy to see that our room was all made up for us already (see prior blog post about our prior stop’s stay where the room was not made up at all!) I must say, there is something about relaxing in water that makes the pains from hiking fade away.
I’ll leave you all with this great family shot we got. This is about 20 feet to the right of our hotel building! You cannot beat this.
Hope you and your family can make it out to Zion National Park one day. And when you do, definitely think of lodging at the Springhill Suites, you will not be disappointed.
